Paperdoll Printable’s

A slowly growing collection of paper-dolls to send to the kids. The kids love them, anywhere up to about age 11, give or take a year, depending on the child. Boys enjoy them, too; don’t be scared, follow your intuition and you can’t go wrong.

I have more littering my photo’s, I’ll add them as I come across them. You can easily send these via most donor email portals. If you’re having trouble on Compassion formatting them, take a screenshot of the image and then use that, it helps. Be mindful of the scale when sending these, keep them as consistent as possible. I try to do one paper-doll page = one full email page. Nice and simple.

I’m always on the hunt for these, especially ones who are not Anglo. Representation is so important, it makes a difference, truly. In that same vein, some paper-dolls are problematic in how they depict the female body. While some artistic license is not a terrible thing, we need to keep in mind that young girls are being hit constantly with completely unattainable beauty standards, including those that infantilize and sexualize. Stay sharp and critical of what you place in your sponsor child’s hands. It sends a message, so be mindful, k? Okay!

Eventually I’ll expand this page out to include other printable’s, or start their own pages or something. Maybe. Suddenly it sounds like a lot of work LoL Meanwhile, I encourage you to hunt around and think outside the box— things like mazes, simple art guides, folded origami inspired projects, fancy paper airplane templates and optical illusions are all huge hits. Going further, lettering guides are fun, Egyptian hieroglyphics, codes… your imagination is the limit!
